Well, aside from Global Warming and the fact that they changed the recipe for Freihoffer's Chocolate Chip cookies.......I'm just thinking about the CD. I'm in the homestretch now. Yesterday, I tracked the vocals for one of my tougher songs. I expected it to be challenging because the execution of the vocals would be difficult and because the content of the song is kind of upsetting for me. It went much better than I expected though, and I celebrated by having sushi. In case you care, my favorites are Salmon, Regular Toro, White Tuna and Uni.

I'm home for a day. Playing guitar again for the first time in a very long while. I had begun playing a while back but got very distracted by killer gnomes, roof leaks and moldy Brie. It's fun. I forgot how fun it is. It's fun to just play and sing...alone in a room - no one to hear you but the night-staff at the Convenient store, which I might add, is parked in my back yard.

Speaking of back yards......I mowed the lawn today for the first time this Season. It's ridiculously hard - yet oddly meditative. It's amazing how many men drove by in their vehicles, looking at me like I was defying the laws of physics or something by mowing my own lawn. Or maybe I just looked really HOT in my baggy pants, sweaty shirt, grass in my teeth and twigs sticking out of my hair .........ooooh BABY.

Anyway, back to the matters at hand. Soon, I'll be sending out some promo kits to various management companies and booking agents. Because YES FOLKS, I have every intention of performing this year. Don't know how, don't know where......that's going to be someone else's job. Oh please....LET IT BE SOMEONE ELSE'S JOB.

But I might start at the Living Room (Meredith).....we'll see.

Now, I just want to acknowledge all of you who have sent in suggestions, comments and well-wishes. I have had less time (or maybe brain-space) lately to answer each email personally. That's something I really regret. Things have been a little dicey for me lately. I'm spinning lotsa plates and lookin' for a job in the Cirque Du Soleil ! I can almost touch my arse with my nose....yay.
