NEWS (February 2001)

Today: Sunny and cool with an average high temperature of 38 degrees. Becoming partly cloudy toward evening with a slight chance of showers developing.

Happy hopes to accomplish 3 things this year. As you all know a new CD will be coming. Along with that however, she hopes to produce a CD of vocal textures-a sampling CD if you will. That will probably take some time and she may license that to another company. We'll keep you posted. She also has stated an interest in doing another electronic CD. Sort of a nod to her Wendy Carlos beginnings.

There is one other thing....someone recently stated that Happy should do a particular type of "covers" album. It got her thinking. Happy would like to know what you all think. If you have an idea of what type of cover tunes Happy would sound good doing, (e.g. Happy does "The Carpenters") please write to us and let us know.

Happy's guitar is currently being posted for sale at www.harmonycentral.com. After watching other auctions come and go for Ovation guitars, Happy decided that she would prefer to just sell it. It's easier for her. Again, if anyone is interested or would like photos of the instrument, write to us.

ECTOFEST WEST
It seems there will be an EctoFest for the West Coast. EctoFest West will be held on June 9th in Santa Cruz, CA. More details will enfold as the time grows nearer.
Happy will be there with a few of her bandmates, doing an 80 minute set. Much of the material will be from the new album.
