NEWS (October 2002)

OK....so the name of the artist Happy sang for is Bob Holroyd and he's on the Six Degrees Records label. Apparently, she had recorded about 4 songs (writing the lyrics and arranging the vocals) but the artist had misgivings about someone else singing on his material. His work is strictly instrumental. However, Happy arranged and sang the backing vocals for a cover of "Games Without Frontiers". She was supposed to do the lead but the artist decided he wanted to do his own interpretation. She was offered a "duet" and turned it down respectfully. We have no word of its release yet, but maybe you all can look around for it.

Happy confessed to me that she actually LOVED what she came up with and was rather disappointed that he backed out. She said his music tracks inspired her to create a slightly different vocal style. Happy also reiterated that Mr. Holroyd was as nice as they come and she wishes him great success with his latest endeavor.
